Everything DiscTok does, and what it deliberately doesn't
DiscTok is narrow on purpose. It handles one job well: proving that a Discord member owns a TikTok, and keeping what follows from that fresh, accurate, and consented.
Verification
A member proves ownership of their TikTok through TikTok's own consent screen. The verified role follows the link.
Role rules
Gate roles on followers, likes, or video count with per-server thresholds and automatic grant and revoke.
Profile cards
An embed that shows avatar, bio, and live stats, refreshed on your plan's polling interval.
Announcements
Opt-in posts for a member's own new videos, with the channel, ping, and template under your control.
Analytics
See links, verifications, and announcements over time, plus a leaderboard on Max.
Per-server config
Every server keeps its own settings, plan, and audit trail. Members only ever see their own links.
Verification
One account, one member, one verified role
A member runs /link, approves the scopes on TikTok's consent screen, and picks the server. DiscTok stores the minimum needed to keep the link working and hands the member a verified role.
- Roles granted and revoked with the link
- Each linked account keeps its own verification
- Two accounts per member on Pro, five on Max
- Unlink or revoke access and DiscTok cleans up
DiscTok only reads the scopes a member approves: basic profile, profile info, stats, and video list.

Roles are granted when a member links and removed if they unlink or revoke access.
Stat-gated roles
Roles that move with the numbers
Rules are plain: a metric, a threshold, and a role. DiscTok evaluates them on every poll, so a Rising Creator role appears at 10K followers and disappears if the count falls back.
- Three metrics: followers, likes, videos
- Thresholds per server, per role
- Ten mappings on Pro, unlimited on Max
- No stale roles after a member stops posting
- 10,000 followers@Rising Creator82%
- 50,000 likes@Crowd Favorite64%
- 100 videos@Prolific96%
Counts refresh on the plan's poll interval. Roles are granted and removed automatically as stats move.
Profile cards
A card that never goes stale
Drop a profile card in your intro channel and it reflects the member's real numbers, updated on your poll interval. It is the fastest way to see who your creators actually are.
- Avatar, display name, bio, and stats
- Refreshed from the Display API
- Available on every plan, including Free
- Verified chip on every linked card

Announcements
Tell the server about new uploads, without spamming it
Announcements are opt-in and scoped to the member's own videos. You choose the channel, the optional role ping, and the message template, including custom embeds on Pro and Max.
- Per-member opt-in, changeable any time
- Channel, ping, and template per server
- Custom embed templates on Pro and Max
- Links go back to TikTok so views still count
Announcements respect TikTok's terms: public videos only, from the member's own account.

Analytics and leaderboards
See whether verification is working
Basic analytics on Pro show links, verifications, and announcements over time. Max adds full history, exports, and a leaderboard that ranks linked members by followers, likes, or videos.
- Links, verifications, and announcements over time
- Leaderboard by followers, likes, or videos
- Full history and exports on Max
- Per-server, never cross-server profiling

Boundaries
What DiscTok won't do
A short list we keep on purpose. It is the reason this bot is safe to invite and easy to explain to your community.
- Scrape TikTok or call unofficial endpoints
- Ask for a TikTok password, ever
- Announce a video a member did not opt into
- Advertise LIVE notifications that no public API supports
- Request Discord administrator just to work
- Touch card data, because Stripe handles payments
DiscTok announces public videos reported by TikTok's Display API. Slideshows and LIVE streams are not part of that API, so we do not pretend to support them.
Put it in a real server
Invite DiscTok, run /link once, and see the verified role land. The free plan is enough to try the whole flow.
