Questions about DiscTok, answered plainly
If something here is unclear, that is worth fixing. Read the Terms and Privacy Policy for the formal version.
Through TikTok's official Login Kit and Display API. A member connects their own account and approves a small set of scopes. DiscTok never scrapes, and it never asks anyone for a password.
Yes. The free plan covers one linked TikTok per member, up to 25 linked members, verified roles, and profile cards. Pro adds announcements, stat-gated roles, and custom embeds for $3/mo. Max removes member limits and adds full analytics.
Only for members who opt in. Each member controls whether their own uploads are announced, and server admins choose the channel and the message template. Announcements are for the member's own videos only.
No. TikTok does not offer a public API for LIVE events, so DiscTok does not advertise or fake them. We only announce public videos that the Display API reports.
Their stored TikTok data is removed, verified and stat-gated roles are dropped, and their profile card stops updating. If they revoke access inside TikTok, DiscTok is notified through TikTok's authorization-removed webhook and runs the same cleanup, with a token-refresh check as a fallback.
Follower count, total likes, and video count. You pick a threshold and a role for each rule. DiscTok grants the role when a member passes the threshold and removes it if they fall back below it.
Follower, like, and video counts refresh on the poll interval for your plan: hourly on Free, every 15 minutes on Pro, and every 5 minutes on Max. Profile cards and role rules use the latest poll.
Yes. Free allows one linked account per member, Pro allows two, and Max allows five. Each account gets its own verification state and stats.
Payments run through Stripe Checkout. You manage or cancel any time from the billing portal in your dashboard, and your plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
We store the TikTok profile fields the member approved plus the tokens needed to keep them current. We never sell data, we never post without a member's opt-in, and we delete everything on unlink or when access is revoked. See the Privacy Policy for specifics.
It asks for Manage Roles, Send Messages, Embed Links, and Read Message History. It does not request administrator, and it never needs to read message content.
Only members with the Manage Server permission can see a server in the dashboard, change its settings, or start a subscription. Everyone else just sees their own links.
